GMAT Prep
BeatTheGMAT.com
Probably the best-known forum for GMAT-related discussion, tips and analysis. The authors of this site have generously made their set of GMAT flash cards available to anyone who signs up. A word of caution, though: don’t let the advice you read on this site become a distraction from good old fashioned practice! People who’ve had average, everyday experiences with the GMAT tend not to write about them on forums.
PurpleMath.com
If you’re like me, you’ll need a lot of help brushing up on math basics before the GMAT. This is a great site for getting back up to speed on basic math.

Another great resource for students in the Accounting class. Confused by an accounting concept? This super-comprehensive, free site has clear definitions for accounting and finance terms and much, much more.
Enlight09’s Youtube Channel – Basic Accounting
These Youtube walk-throughs of basic accounting courses helped me survive those first rough weeks of Accounting class! Teachers tend to assume you know this stuff. If you find yourself confused in week 1, check out these videos.
Marketing Teacher
Here’s a collection of tools, definitions and models for marketing. One of these pages could help you get the ideas you need to get started on cracking a tough marketing case.
Semester 2 – Advanced Finance, Negotiation, And Cross Cultural Business
BATNA.com
On this site, you’ll find a summary of all the tips and strategies for negotiation that MBAs study in the first weeks of Negotiation class. Thanks to Caleb Clark for finding this one!
Bionic Turtle’s Youtube Channel
This is a great companion site to Finance class. Bionic Turtle has videos that you might need to get through Finance class. BionicTurtle.com is amazingly comprehensive – just click on “Uploads” – it’s all there!
Do you have any other useful links to share for would-be or current MBA students?
Gee, I wish they’d had tutorials on Youtube when I was at SFU. Actually, maybe they did. I never thought about looking. It’s funny how now Youtube is the standard place to look for “how to” explanations now.
